FCC Inter-Club Digital Image Challenge
Please select the competition year below.
This is Farnborough's digital image competition for local clubs which we plan to hold as an annual event. Following the success of our inaugural competition in 2006, our second Challenge was held at Farnborough's venue on 13 December 2007. We invited the same clubs as last year although we were reduced to 6 clubs in total as 43 Club had since disbanded, and each club was asked to submit 10 images, making a total of 60 photos for our judge to assess. Again all the clubs were represented on the evening, and we were grateful for their support of the event.
Our judge this time was Bob Turner FRPS who commented that the standard of images presented was excellent, making for an enjoyable competition. Bob scored each image out of 10, and awarded the top mark to a good number, reflecting the high standard. These images can be seen in the panel below. As before the Club’s software worked faultlessly, and at the end produced the total scores for each club in less than a minute. The teams taking part and their final scores can be seen below. This year Farnborough emerged as clear winners, and chairman Terry Redman was delighted to receive the cup on behalf of the Club, especially as this was his last meeting as Chairman.
