Annual Exhibition 2020
The last weekend in January saw Farnborough Camera Clubs Annual exhibition in Princes Mead Shopping Centre.
As in previous years we had several display boards in the centre of the shopping centre, displaying member pictures. We had 60 of the members prints in the exhibition – for which the public could vote for their favourites. The print receiving the highest number of public votes was awarded the exhibition cup.
In addition to the print display we had members on hand to talk all things photography and about the club. We also had a screen showing some jpeg images from recent competitions and a small selection of prints for sale.
We had a very busy weekend, with many people voting for their favourite image. In total we received 330 public votes! A fantastic response.
This year, on adding up all the votes, we had a tie for the exhibition cup. The winners were and therefore sharing the exhibition trophy were:
‘Sisters’ by Lesley Taylor
‘Three Little Harvest Mice’ by Sally Seager
Congratulations to both.
Thank you to all the members who came along to help out and many thanks to members of the public who took the time to vote for their favourite images.
And finally, thanks to Princes Mead for hosting the exhibition again, we couldn’t do this without their vital support.
