Welcome Back – New Season 23-24

Farnborough Camera Club is delighted to welcome everyone back to that start of the new season.

This year we started with a very special occasion. We were delighted that our past Chairperson and Treasurer, Lesley Taylor, received the SCPF Roll of Honour from the SCPF President Anne Eckersley. The roll of honour is awarded to members who have supported the club for 10 years or more, from serving teas to taking on committee roles. Lesley is a prime example of this, serving on the committee for ~14 years, of which many of those as Treasurer and then Chairperson. She now supports the club by organising events and supporting the day to day running of the club.

The remainder of the evening we reviewed our best scoring images of the previous season. Congratulations to Naomi Ward for ‘Dancing Lily’ which was voted as the favourite ’10’ from last season, see below.
