Location

As of 2019, the club meets at the Cody Sports and Social Club (CSSC). This is accessed via Old Ively Road off the Norris Hill Road roundabout.  Parking is both ample and free! Detailed textual guidance is given below.

General Guidance

First, don’t trust the post code and your satnav. There are lots of reports that the allocated post code causes satnavs to take a route into the secure area of the business park. The target to aim for is the Norris Bridge roundabout over the Basigstoke canal, at the junction of Norris Hill Road (A323 Fleet to Aldershot) and Ively Rd (Farnborough). Cody Social Club is up a dead-end road off this roundabout, which locals will possibly know as where Run-About is located.  Go up this road, and you have to turn left before the gates at the end. The club house is then in front of you, and the car park is to the right.  

Detailed Guidance

From Fleet

Head out from Fleet down Kings Road, which turns into Norris Hill Road. After following it all the way, eventually you will arrive at the Norris Bridge roundabout over the Basingstoke Canal. Take the right hand lane approaching the roundabout, and then take the second exit down a road marked as a dead end – following the brown sign to Cody.

From Aldershot

From Aldershot you need to head out on the A323 Fleet Road (off the A325 past Potters Hotel). This will eventually bring you to the Norris Bridge roundabout over the Basingstoke Canal. Turn right at the roundabout, taking the third exit down a road marked as a dead end – following the brown sign to Cody.

From Farnborough

Head out of Farnborough on Elles Road, following the signs to Fleet. At the Ively Roundabout (with the Sir Frank Whittle statue in the middle) take the second exit A323 (Ively Rd) to Fleet. There are two roundabouts in quick succession.  At the first roundabout go straight ahead. At the second roundabout, take the third exit A323 to Fleet. Note at this roundabout that the “Cody Tech Park” is to the left – that is not your destination, although many guests end up there.  At the next roundabout take the first exit, A323 to Fleet. At the next roundabout (with Hartland Village on the right) take the first exit, following the A323. This will eventually bring you to the Norris Bridge roundabout over the Basingstoke Canal. Take the first exit at the roundabout, down a road marked as a dead end – following the brown sign to Cody.

From M3 J4A

Leave J4A and take the exit towards Fleet on A327. At the traffic lights, take the left turn, following A327. This takes you to Pyestock Roundabout. It is important here to (probably) disregard what your satnav will tell you because it is likely to take you into the estate with no access to the social club. Instead, take the first exit, staying on the A327. At the next roundabout you need to loop all the way around it, come back up the A327 and take the left turning into Kennels Lane. Follow that to the end. Again, if your satnav tells you to take the first exit, ignore it otherwise you will be heading for the business park. Instead, at the roundabout take the second turning signposted A323, Fleet. At the next roundabout (with Hartland Village on the right) take the first exit, following the A323. This will eventually bring you to the Norris Bridge roundabout over the Basingstoke Canal. Take the first exit at the roundabout, down a road marked as a dead end – following the brown sign to Cody.
