Member Stories
Whilst FCC does organise events such as outings, photo shoots etc, many members simply take their camera out with them, either to an event or just when out for a walk. This page gathers such ‘stories’ together. It usually represents a style or subject which the members would not consider suitable as a formal competition entry, often being a more realistic representation of a moment captured. It may cover a certain theme, or a number of images from the same location over time.
Whilst it is in the nature of many photographers to take their ‘big’ camera out if they know there are photo opportunities, many of the images in these stories are snapped on whatever equipment is available at the time – often the member’s smartphone. Others carry a (just about) pocketable small camera.
