New Year – A great selection of speakers….
As we start the new year, at Farnborough Camera Club, we are excited by the range of speakers we have coming up in the run up to the summer.
Due to the on-going pandemic, lockdowns, etc, we are continuing to hold our meetings on-line which has proved to be very successful.
As we are still operating virtually, we have been able to supplement our programme with some extra speakers. The other advantage of being on-line, our speakers are not confined to being local.
We kicked off the new year with Jim Holmes speaking on ‘Humanitarian Vision’ featuring imagery which he has taken all around the globe as a professional photographer taking scenes of for charities, projects etc. A fascinating insight into a world we can only imagine, with stories and talk around the shots taken. A fantastic evening.
Coming up we also have:
21st Jan Lilian Hobbs on ‘Astrophotography: Hidden Wonders of the Night Sky’
29th Jan Julian Elliott on ‘The End of the World’, a journey round Patagonia
11th Feb Alan Barrett speaking on ‘Composition in the Landscape’
24th Feb David Keep on ‘A project based approach to Photography’
25th March Chris Upton on ‘ Essential Composition’
29th April Margaret Salisbury on ‘ The Dragon in Monochrome’
If anyone is interested in going in on one of the speakers – please just get in touch!
