Welcome Back to the start of Season 24-25

As is traditional, the first Thursday of the year saw an informal vote on which was the members favourite image that scored 10 in the previous season. There were a total of forty one 10s allocated last season, and with twenty five or so members present, votes were at a premium. The winner this year, attracting four votes from the members was “Contemplating a Brighter Future” by Paul Hendley.  Congratulations to Paul, and also to Ian Newell, Clare Edwards and Kerry Turner (with two images), who also scored more than a single vote.  

There was a generous mid-evening break for refreshments in the bar, and following the vote there was a discussion about the new competition rules in force this year.
