John Childs – ARPS Panel – The Watercress Line

I chose to do a project at the Mid Hants Railway (The Watercress Line) to shoot a number of images showing its trains, and its personnel going about their duties, in order to convey the purpose of a heritage steam railway showing the way things were in the days of steam. My images are therefore in the nature of a pictorial documentary. The Watercress Line will consider using some of the images in their publicity material and I will hold an exhibition of my images in the near future. Some of the images have already appeared on the Railway’s website and in the Mid-Hants News (the journal of the Mid-Hants Railway).
