Nature SIG – Trip to Tice’s Meadow
On Monday 15th June a group of members went for a walk around Tice’s Meadow in Badshot Lea. It was an early morning start, meeting at 7:30 outside the main gate.
It was the first visit to the site, so it was uncertain what to expect. As it turns out, we didn’t see many birds although they certainly made themselves heard. However, there was a plethora of insects, with one stretch of path seemingly being home to numerous blue (Azure) damselfly.
Members who went on the walk were
- Lesley Taylor
- Kerry Turner
- Neil Payne
- Wendy Collens
- Annie Lane
- Steve Brunton
The following are a selection of images from the day.
