Alan Brown: On the River Wey through Guildford.
Spotting a spare afternoon coming up I booked a boat trip on the River Wey from the National Trust at Dapdune Wharf in Guildford. It was a family thing but I sensed a photo opportunity too. We opted for the trip up river through Guildford rather than the rural trip downstream. These are my images from the trip.
Setting off from Dapdune Wharf in the all-electric launch

Our first bridge with some great reflections coming up on the left.

Playing with those reflections in post production!

The new footbridge in town and more reflections.

The old iron bridge that is now a pedestrian bridge and approaching the old Debenhams building.

By the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and about to turn around before the lock that is just out of sight.
