Spectrum and Heywood Successful Entries 2025

On Wednesday 22nd October Yateley Camera Club hosted this year’s Spectrum and Heywood competitions. These are annual competitions held between Farnborough Camera Club, Aldershot, Farnham and Fleet Camera Club and Yateley Camera Club.

The Heywood Trophy is an open competition, whereas the Spectrum is a themed competition with rotating themes, this year’s being ‘Macro & Micro’.

Farnborough had a good night in the Spectrum, with first place being taken by Hortensja Malek with “Red Damselfly”. A further four images were marked as highly commended.

The Heywood was less successful for the club, with third place being the sole recognised image, achieved by Paul Hendley with “Backlit Brugmansia”.

Well done to those who were successful on the night, and thanks to all those members who represented Farnborough.
