Spectrum and Heywood Competition 2020

Farnborough joins in with 2 other local clubs (AFFCC and Yately) every year for 4 local competitions, 2 PDI – the Spectrum and Heywood and the other 2 being a print competitions.

This years Spectrum competition was on the theme of ‘Portrait’ and the Heywood was an Open competition. This year the event was hosted online by Aldershot, Farnham and Fleet camera club (AFFCC).

Dave Smith was the judge for the evening and picked through the range of images submitted.

Overall, Farnborough had a very successful evening. The Heywood competition was won by our Chairperson Lesley Taylor with her picture of Large Red Damselflies. There were also highly commended for Naomi Ward and Sally Seager.

Again in the Spectrum competition Farnborough were successful, with Gary Pratt bringing home the cup with his picture of the Nubian Queen, and Kathryn Graham coming second. Basil Groundsell also gained a highly commended.

Overall an excellent evening and some fabulous images. Thanks to Aldershot, Farnham and Fleet camera club for hosting.
